Grand Lodge Communication

The Grand Communication in Winnipeg seemed to go by like a flash. Before I knew it I was in the Chair of the Grand Master, feeling somewhat humbled by the whole event.
I was pleased that so many of my brothers, sisters, friends and family, were in the room to witness the installation of myself and the officers of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba for 2009-2010. After the installation, there was a reception hosted by the Job’s Daughters where I received many congratulations and good wishes.
Then we were off to the Shrine Temple, for Bud, Spud, and Steak, held by the Divan of Khartum Shrine featuring the new Grand Master.
Thank you everyone for a wonderful weekend, installation and celebration.

The Grand Line

At 10:00 A.M., the Grand Line, under the Chair of Chibu Uson, met with the new D.D.G.M. at M.M.C. for a time of orientation and training under the leadership of R.W. Bro. Lynn Latozke. Good Job!

At 1:30 P.M., I met with the Committee to pick Committees under the leadership of R.W. Kris Goodmanson ( DGM ) and Chair MW Bro. Stuart Allen.

Charleswood Red River Lodge Visit

June & I attend Charleswood Red River Lodge for a Bar B. Q. and presentation of two T.V.’s to the Grace Hospital.

Grand Communication Of Alberta

June & I drove to Camrose, Alberta and attended the Grand Communication of Alberta. IPGM Ted Jones and his wife Shirley joined with us there.
While at this Communication the Grand Lodge of Alberta passed $ 1.00 per each one of their members supporting our “just a buck” campaign. Good Stuff!
The DGM, SGW, and their wives attended the Communication in North Dakota representing our Grand Lodge.

Grand Communication Of Sask.

The GM, GS, SGW, JGW and his wife Carol , attended the Grand Communication of Sask. In Lloydminister, Alberta.
The Grand Lodge of Sask., has raised over $1000.00 supporting our “just a buck ” campaign. Well Done!

Visit to Job's Daughters Bethel #13

I attended Job’s Daughters Bethel No. 13, Installation of Officers at Charleswood Red River.
During the Installation I was able to sing, ....I come to the Garden..... I was very proud of these young Ladies and their Leaders.

Visit to Khartum Shrine

I was proud to attend the Stated Meeting of the Khartum Shrine where I was presented with my Grand Master’s Fez.

Phil-Can Lodge #189 and Vermillion Lodge #68 Visit

June and I attended a fund raiser for the Fil-Can Cabletow Lodge No. 189. A wonderful time was had by all.
From there we drove up to Dauphin Mb., to met with the Brothers of Vermillion Lodge No. 68. While on # 5 Highway we hit a skunk, which was not known until after we stopped the car. We got into Dauphin at 2:30 A.M. and parked the car away form the Hotel.

Phil-Can Lodge #189 and Vermillion Lodge #68 Visit: Part 2

The rain stopped long enough for the Brothers of Vermillion Lodge, myself and their Master Dave Romaniuk, to be in the parade Saturday Morning at 11:00 A.M.
June & I then joined the Brothers and their Wives for lunch. Good Lunch!
June & I then drove back to Winnipeg through the rain, which removed the smell of the skunk from the car.
Once back in Winnipeg we quickly changed and went off to an Official Visit to the Fil-Can Cabletow Lodge No. 189, followed by a time of fellowship. Good Food! Good Fellowship!

Job's Daughters Bethel #9 Installation

I attended Job’s Daughters Bethel No. 9, Installation of Officers at MMT. Again I was so proud to see these young ladies and their leaders doing the installation.
